1. Trauma-Informed Counselor

  • Salary Range: 60,000–80,000 USD per year (full-time).​
  • Job Description: Provides counseling to individuals and families affected by trauma, abuse, or crisis, using trauma-informed principles of safety, empowerment, and trust.


2. Behavioral Health Specialist

  • Salary Range: 45,000–70,000 USD per year.​
  • Job Description: Supports clients with mental and behavioral health needs in clinics, schools, or community programs. Assists with behavior plans, skill-building, crisis de-escalation, and coordination. 


3. Clinical Chaplain (CPE Trained)

  • Salary Range: 70,000–95,000 USD per year.​
  • Job Description: Provides spiritual care, grief support, and crisis intervention in hospitals, hospices, prisons, or other institutions. 

4. Pastoral Counselor

  • Salary Range: 50,000–80,000 USD per year.
  • Job Description: Integrates counseling skills with spiritual and pastoral care to support individuals, couples, and families facing emotional, relational, or spiritual challenges. 

 

5. Trauma Recovery Coach

  • Salary Range: 45,000–70,000 USD per year (or hourly/contract).
  • Job Description: Coaches clients through trauma-informed recovery goals, focusing on stabilization, self-regulation, and practical life skills. 


6. School-Based Mental Health Liaison

  • Salary Range: 50,000–75,000 USD per year.
  • Job Description: Serves as a bridge between schools, families, and mental health services. Identifies students with behavioral or emotional concerns.

7. Community Behavioral Health Navigator

  • Salary Range: 45,000–65,000 USD per year.
  • Job Description: Helps individuals and families connect to behavioral health, counseling, and social service resources in the community. 

8. Crisis Intervention Specialist

  • Salary Range: 50,000–80,000 USD per year.
  • Job Description: Responds to individuals in acute emotional or behavioral crisis in hospitals, mobile crisis teams, or hotlines. 

9. Correctional or Reentry Chaplain

  • Salary Range: 55,000–80,000 USD per year.
  • Job Description: Provides spiritual care, counseling, and trauma-informed support to incarcerated individuals and those transitioning back into the community. 

10. Faith-Based Counseling Center Director

  • Salary Range: 70,000–100,000 USD per year.
  • Job Description: Oversees operations of a counseling or behavioral health center within a faith-based or community organization. 

11. Behavioral Health Program Coordinator

  • Salary Range: 55,000–85,000 USD per year.​
  • Job Description: Coordinates behavioral health or trauma-focused programs in nonprofits, churches, or community agencies. 

12. Hospital or Hospice Spiritual Care Coordinator

  • Salary Range: 65,000–90,000 USD per year.​
  • Job Description: Leads spiritual care services in a hospital or hospice system. Supervises chaplains, coordinates coverage, develops policies, and care.
