 University  President, Ceo & Founder

Dr. Carl Robinson President’s Address to the Harvest Christian University Community and Alumni.

Dear Esteemed Alumni, Students, Faculty, and Friends of Harvest Christian University,

It is both an honor and a privilege to address you as President of this distinguished institution—a place where intelligence is not merely a privilege, but a gift. And as with all gifts, it is our sacred duty to use it for the good of mankind. Indeed, to whom much is given, much is required.

Few are born with intelligence, yet all who possess it must remember: it is not a badge of entitlement, but a responsibility to serve, to uplift, and to transform. At Harvest Christian University, we hold steadfast to the true meaning of “education.” For us, education is not confined to the walls of a classroom or the pages of a textbook. It is the comprehensive training of the mind, the nurturing of the spirit, and the strengthening of the body. It is moral, intellectual, and physical—a holistic journey that shapes not just scholars, but citizens.

As ‘The Prestigious Harvest Christian University,’ formed under Royal Charter as a Royal Sovereign School, we are renowned for our educational acumen and our unwavering commitment to indigenous learning. Our reputation as a post-secondary institution of higher learning is built upon a foundation of excellence and a vision that education should empower individuals to become creators of jobs, stewards of opportunity, and builders of communities.

We believe that education should prepare our students not only to participate in society, but to lead it. We strive to instill in each student the courage and competence to run the country before it is their time, so that when their moment arrives, they are ready to serve with wisdom and integrity.

At Harvest Christian University, we rise by merit and hard work. We believe in producing what we want and need through diligence, perseverance, and faith. Our core values are not mere words, but guiding principles that shape every decision and every life we touch:

  • Opportunity: We open doors for every student to realize their potential.
  • Rise by Merit: We reward excellence and recognize achievement.
  • Upward Mobility: We empower individuals to transcend limitations and reach new heights.
  • Freedom: We cherish the liberty to learn, to think, and to become.

To our alumni, you are the living legacy of these values. To our students, you are the promise of a brighter tomorrow. To our faculty and staff, you are the architects of dreams realized.

Let us continue to honor the gift of intelligence by using it in service of others, and let us remember that the true measure of education is not what we achieve for ourselves, but what we contribute to the world.

With deepest gratitude and unwavering faith in our shared mission,

.

ECCLESIASTICAL POLICY INTERNATIONAL Affairs

Vice-President Dr. Jaron Barnes Dean OF (EPIA)

Department of Ecclesiastical Policy and International Affairs (EPIA)

Harvest Christian University

The EPIA department is committed to examining how faith, spirituality, and moral philosophy—including Christianity, Islam, Judaism, Hinduism, Buddhism, Indigenous traditions, and other belief systems—have shaped societies from the earliest civilizations to the modern era.

Students under Dr. Barnes’s leadership explore the ways that religious principles intersect with political systems, studying a wide spectrum of governance models: democracies in North America and Europe, constitutional monarchies in Asia and the Middle East, tribal and communal leadership in Africa and the Pacific Islands, socialist and authoritarian structures in various regions, and hybrid systems where faith and law intersect.

Through comparative analysis, students learn how moral and ethical frameworks rooted in religious thought have influenced laws, diplomacy, human rights, and social cohesion across cultures.

The department emphasizes critical engagement with sacred texts, historical case studies, and the lived experiences of communities, encouraging students to move beyond conventional interpretations and surface-level teachings.

Dr. Barnes inspires students to develop an authentic, nuanced understanding of how religion and ethics can inform leadership, policy-making, and international relations, enabling them to contribute to the formation of equitable and morally grounded institutions worldwide.
