Harvest Christian University Aviation School Dr. Ron Mays

Harvest Christian University is proud to announce an exciting partnership between Harvest Christian University, the Jesse Douglas Flight School, and Tuskegee University to expand aviation education and training opportunities for future generations of aviators.

The Jesse Douglas Flight School is named in honor of the late Jesse Douglas Robinson, whose passion for aviation began at an early age. Jesse loved flying and was known for piloting twin Cessna aircraft at just eight years old. One of his greatest dreams was to become a professional pilot. Among his cherished memories was a flight over his own home, an experience that deepened his love for aviation and inspired those around him.

Through aviation and manufacturing training, students will gain valuable skills that lead to sustainable careers, economic empowerment, and community leadership.

Harvest Christian University Aviation School Dr. Ron Mays

Under the leadership of Dr. Ron Mays, this collaboration seeks to create innovative pathways for aspiring pilots and aviation professionals. By combining the educational resources, expertise, and aviation heritage of the participating institutions, the program aims to provide exceptional training, mentorship, and career development opportunities.

Tuskegee University's aviation initiatives continue the historic legacy of the Tuskegee Airmen and include a modern Aviation Science program that prepares students for professional aviation careers through flight training and academic instruction.

This partnership represents a significant step forward in advancing aviation education, promoting diversity within the aviation industry, and helping students achieve their dreams of flight. Together, Harvest Christian University, the Jesse Douglas Flight School, and Tuskegee University are committed to developing the next generation of aviation leaders.
