Internationally, there are hundreds of legitimate quality-assurance and accreditation bodies operating under completely different national systems.
CHEA’s international directory alone contains more than 550 quality-assurance bodies, accreditation bodies, and ministries in over 170 countries, including both governmental and private organizations authorized in their respective jurisdictions.
INQAAHE is another major global network, with 300+ organizations involved in higher-education quality assurance.
American Association for Higher Education and Accreditation (AAHEA)
Harvest Christian University is recognized through its affiliation/accreditation relationship with the American Association for Higher Education and Accreditation (AAHEA). AAHEA is a United States-based private higher-education organization that operates an accreditation program in the United States and internationally.
Board of Quality Standards (BQS)
Harvest Christian University is certified through the Board of Quality Standards (BQS). BQS operates as an independent international quality-assurance organization.
International Network for Quality Assurance Agencies in Higher Education (INQAAHE)
The Board of Quality Standards is an INQAAHE member organization.
Accordingly, HCU’s international quality-assurance connection to INQAAHE is through its relationship with BQS, while HCU is separately recognized through its affiliation/accreditation relationship with AAHEA, a private higher-education accreditation organization operating in the United States and internationally.
