The Community Overwatch Program is a flagship initiative of the Georgia A. Robinson Police Academy at Harvest Christian University. Its mission is to build trust, partnership, and shared responsibility between law enforcement and the community through proactive engagement, oversight, and collaboration. 

Introduction

Community Police Officers

Providing crime prevention advice and supporting multi-agency operations to address recurring issues CPOs are granted certain powers under the Anti-social Behavior, Crime and Policing Act 2014, including the ability to issue Community Protection Notices (CPNs) to individuals or businesses whose unreasonable conduct is having a detrimental effect on the local community's quality of life.

Harvest Christian University Community Policing Program

Purpose:
Community Police Officers (CPOs) are the front-line representatives of the academy’s community policing philosophy. Their primary role is to build trust, enhance public safety, and address quality-of-life issues through direct engagement with residents.
