The General Board of Harvest Christian University, in accordance with its governance provisions and with prayerful discernment, is honored to announce the formal appointment of Dr. Anthony Brown as Vice-Chair of the Board of Governors.

This appointment reflects the General Board’s confidence in Dr. Brown’s record of distinguished leadership, his long-standing service to education and ministry, and his deep commitment to the mission of Harvest Christian University — to prepare servant-leaders equipped with both academic excellence and spiritual integrity.

In his new capacity as Vice-Chair, Dr. Brown will serve as a principal partner to the Chair of the Board, Dr. Jewel Nash. His role will include presiding in the Chair’s absence, supporting the facilitation of board meetings, strengthening governance processes, and advancing university-wide priorities through collaborative leadership.

Harvest Christian University is honored to announce the appointment of Dr. Tami Weaver-Henry to its Board of Governors, serving in the vital role of Governor of Healthcare, Community & Faith Initiatives.

Dr. Weaver-Henry brings over 27 years of distinguished leadership spanning healthcare administration, spiritual counseling, and community advocacy. She is the founder and CEO of Angel’s Care Home Health, New Jersey’s first Christian-based home health care company, where she has advanced holistic care that addresses the mind, body, and soul of patients. Her vast experience includes executive roles in healthcare services, crisis management certifications, and chaplaincy leadership.

Holding a Bachelor of Science in Theology and certifications in Clinical Pastoral Counseling and Crisis Intervention, Dr. Weaver-Henry exemplifies the university’s mission to integrate faith and service. Alongside her healthcare leadership, she actively serves various community organizations including local government advisory boards, clergy alliances, and police chaplaincy ministries.

In her capacity on the Board, Dr. Weaver-Henry will provide strategic guidance on healthcare education, foster partnerships that enhance community health outreach, and support faith-based initiatives that align with Harvest Christian University’s mission. Her expertise and dedication position her as a key contributor to the university’s continued growth and impact.
